PM Shehbaz Pledges Unyielding Fight Against Terrorism, Hails Security Forces for Foiling Foreign-Backed Plots

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed that Pakistan’s war against terrorism will persist with unyielding resolve until the last remnants of extremism are wiped out, declaring that the nation will never allow its peace to be held hostage by foreign-sponsored violence.

Commending the recent counter-terrorism operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Prime Minister lauded the professionalism and bravery of Pakistan’s security forces for eliminating multiple terrorists affiliated with the outlawed Khawarij network, which he described as a proxy force backed by India to spread chaos within Pakistan.

“These cowardly enemies, acting under foreign patronage, aim to sabotage our sovereignty—but our armed forces continue to send them to their deserved fate,” said the Prime Minister in a strong statement issued on Monday.

He praised the security forces for killing five militants in Lakki Marwat, two in Bannu, and two in Mir Ali, North Waziristan—calling it a resounding victory in the ongoing war against terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid rich tribute to Sepoy Farhad Ali Tori and Lance Naik Sabir Afridi, who embraced martyrdom during the North Waziristan operation. Offering prayers for their elevation in the hereafter, he expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and assured them of the nation’s eternal gratitude.

“Our martyrs are the true guardians of the nation’s peace,” the Prime Minister said. “The entire nation stands united behind its armed forces, and no force—internal or external—can weaken our resolve to defend Pakistan.”

He concluded with a stern warning to the enemies of the state: “We will continue to turn every sinister design into dust. Peace in Pakistan is non-negotiable.”
