Security Forces have achieved a significant success during the ongoing Operation Shabaan after conducting a high-intensity counter-terrorism operation in the Saran Tangi area, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists and the recovery of a substantial quantity of weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment.
According to security sources, the operation was conducted following credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorist elements in the area. A coordinated and comprehensive action was launched involving aerial and ground forces to neutralize the threat and clear the suspected hideouts.
During the operation, terrorists were effectively engaged through helicopter gunship support and UCAV (drone) strikes, followed by a coordinated ground assault. Security Forces advanced from multiple directions, effectively restricting the movement of the terrorists and leaving them with no avenue of escape.
As a result of the successful engagement, four terrorists were eliminated, and their bodies were recovered from the site. The operation also led to the recovery of a significant arsenal and equipment being used by the terrorist network for carrying out hostile activities.

- 2 × 125cc Motorcycles
- 1 × Handheld Jammer
The recovery of a large quantity of arms, ammunition, surveillance equipment, and communication devices highlights the operational capabilities and preparedness of the terrorist elements operating in the area. The successful action has significantly disrupted their ability to conduct further hostile activities.
