Security forces continue targeted operations across Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, with a fresh operation in Mastung resulting in the elimination of nine Fitna al-Hindustan elements, according to security sources.
The operation was conducted in the Kank Valley area of Mastung after Fitna al-Hindustan elements attempted to attack a security post. Security forces responded swiftly and effectively, triggering an intense exchange of fire.
According to security sources, two Fitna al-Hindustan elements were eliminated during the initial exchange of fire. Following the engagement, the fleeing Fitna al-Hindustan elements were pursued by security forces. The ensuing operation resulted in the elimination of a further seven Fitna al-Hindustan elements, taking the total number eliminated during the operation to nine.
The sustained pursuit prevented the fleeing elements from escaping the area and enabled security forces to further disrupt their presence and operational activity in the region.
A significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the eliminated Fitna al-Hindustan elements. Security forces also recovered three motorcycles, along with a substantial quantity of other equipment and ammunition. The recoveries are expected to provide further information regarding the movement, logistics and operational activities of Fitna al-Hindustan elements operating in the area.
During the intense exchange of fire, one security forces personnel sustained injuries. The injured serviceman was promptly evacuated and shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. He is receiving the necessary medical care.
The operation in Mastung is part of the continuing security campaign under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, aimed at dismantling Fitna al-Hindustan networks and preventing attempts to target security installations and local communities.
Security forces remain fully alert and continue intelligence-based operations to identify and disrupt Fitna al-Hindustan elements operating across Balochistan.
The security forces have reiterated their unwavering resolve to continue operations against Fitna al-Hindustan until the last such element is eliminated, while maintaining their commitment to protecting the lives and property of the people of Balochistan.
