Security Forces achieved another significant success in the ongoing fight against terrorism by conducting a series of effective intelligence-based operations (IBOs) under Operation 11 Garaj in Lakki Marwat, resulting in the elimination of nine Khawarij and the dismantling of multiple terrorist infrastructure.
The operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorist elements in the area. Security Forces swiftly executed coordinated operations, engaging hostile militants and successfully neutralizing nine Khawarij.
During the course of the operation, troops also destroyed several terrorist hideouts that had been used to facilitate planning, movement, and logistical support for militant activities. The operation dealt a substantial blow to the operational capabilities of terrorist networks active in the region.
In addition to neutralizing the terrorists, Security Forces apprehended several facilitators believed to have been providing logistical and operational support to the militants. Their detention is expected to assist ongoing investigations and further intelligence-led counterterrorism efforts.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and other military-grade equipment was also recovered during the operation. The seized material is believed to have been intended for use in future terrorist activities targeting security forces and civilians.
Officials described the operation as part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to dismantle terrorist infrastructure, eliminate extremist networks, and prevent militants from re-establishing operational bases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Security Forces reaffirmed their unwavering resolve to continue intelligence-based operations across the province, emphasizing that every effort will be made to identify, pursue, and eliminate terrorist threats wherever they exist.
Authorities reiterated that Operation 11 Garaj will continue with full determination until terrorism is eradicated and lasting peace, stability, and security are fully restored across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
