Pakistani security forces have achieved a significant operational success against TTP Khawarij during a series of targeted Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) conducted across Kohat under Operation 11 Garaj.
Acting on actionable intelligence regarding the presence and movement of TTP Khawarij, security forces launched coordinated operations at multiple locations in the area. The operations involved the effective employment of quick-response contingents (QCs) and ground forces, enabling security personnel to rapidly engage hostile elements and prevent them from exploiting the area.
During the operations, security forces came under heavy firing from the Khawarij, resulting in an intense exchange of fire. Responding swiftly and decisively, the forces effectively engaged the Khawarij, inflicting significant losses upon them. Multiple TTP Khawarij were eliminated during the engagements.
Following the successful encounters, security forces also recovered weapons and other material from the Khawarij, further confirming their hostile presence and preparations in the area.
