A special jirga was held in Dattakhel tehsil of North Waziristan between the local brigade leadership of Pakistan Army and tribal elders, where participants discussed the overall security situation, public concerns and measures to further strengthen cooperation between security forces and the local community.

During the interaction, the deputy commander assured the elders that all issues, recommendations and demands presented during the jirga had been conveyed to the relevant authorities and would be addressed through appropriate procedures.
The participants agreed that sustained communication, mutual trust and cooperation between security forces and the local population remain essential for ensuring lasting peace, development and prosperity in North Waziristan.
