Naqvi Calls for Global Anti-Terror Strategy in Meeting with UK MP Afzal Khan

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has called for the urgent formation and implementation of a multi-faceted international strategy to combat terrorism, stressing that the threat now transcends borders and requires unified global action.

Naqvi made these remarks during a meeting with British MP and senior Labour figure Afzal Khan. The two discussed strengthening Pakistan-UK relations, improving the welfare of the Pakistani community in the UK, and deepening counter-terrorism cooperation.

Congratulating Khan on his recent election victory, Naqvi praised his efforts to build closer ties between the two countries. He expressed hope that Pak-UK relations would reach new heights under the Labour Party’s leadership.

Highlighting Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism efforts, Naqvi welcomed British support for enhancing institutional capacity and training. He also acknowledged the Pakistani diaspora’s significant contribution to both countries’ economies.

MP Afzal Khan lauded Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed his commitment to further bolstering bilateral ties.
