Multiple Explosions Shake Quetta as Rockets Strike Several Areas

Multiple explosions occurred today in various parts of Quetta as rocket projectiles landed across different areas of the city, causing widespread alarm among residents and temporary disruption to daily life. Authorities have confirmed that no casualties have been recorded, despite damage to infrastructure and property in several localities.

Explosions and loud blasts were heard in multiple neighborhoods including Gwalmandi Chowk, Mir Ahmed Khan Road, New Najam-ud-Din Road, Sarki Road, and Qambrani Road. The intensity of the sounds and the sudden nature of the incidents led to panic among citizens, with residents experiencing significant concern as the situation unfolded.

In Shanti Nagar, a rocket landed in the area, though no loss of life or injuries occurred. On Mir Ahmed Khan Road, a rocket struck a power transformer, triggering an explosion that resulted in a temporary suspension of electricity supply in the surrounding locality. In another incident near Usmania Mosque on Fakir Muhammad Road, a rocket hit the roof of a residential house, causing substantial damage to the structure as well as to a solar power system installed on the property. All members of the household remained safe and unharmed.

The incidents caused fear and distress among residents across the affected areas, with emergency response measures and public safety awareness activated in the aftermath. Normal activities in several neighborhoods were briefly disrupted as people reacted to the unfolding situation.
