A bomb planted by terrorists on a motorcycle exploded on the main road at Fida Chowk in Turbat, injuring several pedestrians, according to local sources.
The blast occurred on the busy Fida Chowk main road, after which police and security forces immediately reached the scene, cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to secure the site and determine whether any further threat remained.
Several passersby were injured in the explosion and were shifted to hospital for medical treatment. Medical sources said the condition of all the injured was currently stable and that they were out of danger.
Initial information indicates that the device had been planted on a motorcycle and was detonated in the populated commercial area, raising concerns over the deliberate targeting of civilians and the potential use of improvised explosive devices by terrorist elements.
