In a decisive step against terrorism, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has unveiled a comprehensive list of its most wanted militants, complete with bounties reaching Rs 4.14 billion. The initiative underscores the province’s zero-tolerance approach toward militants and the continuing fight against extremism on its soil.
Compiled by the KP administration and intelligence agencies, the list includes high-profile terrorists from across the province. Kurram’s Kazim Khan carries a bounty of Rs 30 million, commander Amjadullah Rs 20 million, and Bajaur’s Maulvi Faqir Muhammad Rs 15 million. Other militants hail from Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, and multiple districts.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) submitted the finalised list to the Home Department, highlighting that as of September 15, 2025, KP is home to 1,351 dangerous militants. These individuals have carried out over 500 attacks on security forces in 2025 alone, leaving hundreds of civilians and personnel dead.
Officials warned that many of these militants operate from Afghanistan under Indian backing, a factor Pakistan has repeatedly raised at the diplomatic level. “This list is a warning to all terrorists,” a senior official said. “KP will not allow its territory to be used as a safe haven for killers and extremists.”
The move comes as part of a broader provincial security strategy, aimed at dismantling militant networks and protecting civilians. Authorities emphasized that efforts will continue relentlessly, and the bounties will remain in place until these terrorists are neutralized.
