The Home Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released a new list of 15 most-wanted terrorists linked to activities in Lower Dir district and has announced substantial cash rewards for credible information leading to their arrest.
According to the official notification, the highest reward of PKR 12 million has been declared for information leading to the arrest of Khurshid, who is considered one of the most high-profile individuals on the list.
A reward of PKR 10 million has been announced for actionable intelligence facilitating the arrest of Sher Amin alias “Kaka”, another key figure on the wanted list.
For other individuals named in the list, including Qari Ihsan and Sher Alam, authorities have announced a reward of PKR 6 million each for information that leads to their apprehension.
Similarly, rewards of PKR 5 million each have been set for individuals including Spin Shah, Ijaz, and others, while Kifayat, Hazrat Hussain, and Sharifullah have been placed with rewards of PKR 4 million each for credible information resulting in their arrest.
Officials stated that all individuals included in the list are wanted in connection with serious security-related offences, and law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing coordinated efforts to apprehend them.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has assured that the identity of individuals providing information will be kept strictly confidential. Authorities emphasized that full measures will be taken to ensure the protection of informants in order to encourage public cooperation in ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.
The Home Department urged citizens to support law enforcement agencies by reporting any credible information regarding the whereabouts or movements of the listed individuals. Such cooperation, officials noted, plays a vital role in strengthening peace and security across the region.
Reaffirming its commitment to eliminating terrorism, the provincial government stated that all necessary measures are being taken to bring those involved in violent and destabilizing activities to justice in accordance with the law.
