Security Forces successfully conducted intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the Kech and Zehri areas, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists associated with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), while three additional terrorists surrendered in an injured condition and were taken into custody.
According to security sources, the operations were launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence and activities of BLA terrorists in the respective areas. Security Forces moved swiftly to target the identified locations and successfully disrupted hostile elements operating in the region.
During the operations, an intense exchange of fire took place between Security Forces and the terrorists. As a result of the effective response by the forces, four BLA terrorists were killed, while three others, who sustained injuries during the engagement, surrendered and were subsequently taken into custody for further investigation.
Following the successful engagements, Security Forces have expanded the scope of the operations and are carrying out comprehensive clearance activities to eliminate remaining terrorist hideouts, disrupt support networks, and ensure that no hostile elements are able to regroup or resume terrorist activities.
The ongoing clearance operation demonstrates the unwavering resolve, operational preparedness, and professional capability of Pakistan’s Security Forces in countering terrorism and restoring peace and stability in affected areas.
Security officials have reiterated that operations against terrorist elements and their facilitators will continue with full determination. The state remains committed to eliminating threats to national security and ensuring the protection of citizens through sustained intelligence-driven actions.
