In a swift and decisive operation, Pakistani security forces thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Pak-Afghan border near Ghulam Khan, North Waziristan. A unit of the Pakistan Army successfully identified a group of militants trying to cross into Pakistani territory through a narrow ravine.

Acting on immediate intelligence, Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) of the Pakistan Army moved in and swiftly cordoned off the area. The suspects had taken shelter in a nearby mosque, prompting a tactical encirclement to avoid civilian casualties.

After a brief standoff, all five militants were apprehended without bloodshed. Authorities later confirmed that all detained individuals were Afghan nationals.

The operation marks yet another successful interception by Pakistan’s border security forces amid growing concerns of cross-border militant movement.
