Four terrorists belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij were eliminated in two separate intelligence-based operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the night of 3–4 June 2026, according to security sources.

In the first engagement, an intelligence-based operation was launched in Dera Ismail Khan district following reports of terrorist presence in the area. Security forces effectively engaged the terrorist hideout, resulting in an intense exchange of fire. Two terrorists were eliminated on the spot.

In a second operation carried out in Mohmand district, security forces once again acted on confirmed intelligence inputs regarding terrorist movement. During a swift and precise engagement, two more terrorists were neutralized.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the eliminated terrorists, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities targeting security personnel and civilians in the region.

Following the operations, sanitization efforts were initiated in both areas to ensure the complete clearance of any remaining terrorist elements. Security officials stated that such operations are part of the ongoing, high-tempo counterterrorism campaign under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies continue operations across sensitive districts to dismantle terrorist networks, disrupt their support structures, and prevent further attacks against peace and stability in the country.
