A deadly exchange of gunfire occurred in the Korki area of Manguchar between members of the Lango, or Langaw tribe and the Fitna al-Hindustan (BLA), resulting in the deaths of four FAH terrorists of and one local tribesman. Two others were injured in the incident.
According to official sources, the deceased have been identified as Balach Khan, son of Saadullah, Lango tribe (killed); Nasrullah, son of Muhammad Hashim, Lango tribe (injured), and Allah Dad, son of Sher Muhammad, Simalani tribe (injured).
The bodies of the slain BLA terrorists were recovered at the site, while the injured and the local tribesman were initially taken to RHC in Mandi Haji and later referred to Quetta for treatment.
Officials confirmed that all four BLA militants killed were active participants in previous acts of militancy in the region.
Following yesterday’s suicide attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Quetta, security forces launched a series of intelligence-based operations in Khuzdar, Quetta, and Sherani.
In Khuzdar, seven terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan (BLA) were eliminated.
In Quetta’s Ghaza Band area and Sherani, several members of Fitna al-Khawarij (the banned TTP) were killed.
Officials confirmed that those neutralized today were directly involved in orchestrating and executing terrorist attacks, including the assault on the FC headquarters. The successful operations also foiled further plots by the India-backed network to destabilise Balochistan and target security installations.
