The banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), or India-backed Fitna al-Hindustan, has confirmed the death of its senior commander Haroon Balghani alias Dostain, one of six militants killed during a failed attack on a military installation in the Gidar area of Surab district.

The attack, carried out by Fitna-al-Hindustan, was swiftly repelled by Pakistani security forces in a highly coordinated counter-operation. According to official sources, six terrorists were eliminated in the encounter, effectively crushing the assault and ensuring complete safety of the strategic post.

“Our forces acted with exceptional precision and speed. The threat was neutralized before it could cause any damage or casualties,” stated Deputy Commissioner Surab, confirming that the situation is now fully under control.

The elimination of Haroon Balghani, a notorious insurgent involved in anti-state activities and cross-border sabotage, represents a major operational setback for the BLA. Authorities believe he was responsible for coordinating multiple attacks on security convoys and infrastructure in southern Balochistan.

This operation follows a pattern of recent foiled attempts by India-backed proxies seeking to destabilise Balochistan and disrupt regional development. Intelligence sources identify Fitna-al-Hindustan as part of a broader hybrid warfare strategy aimed at undermining Pakistan’s internal stability.

Security agencies remain on high alert, and follow-up operations are underway to trace additional collaborators in the region. The state’s resolve, officials affirmed, remains unwavering.

“Every attempt to destabilise Pakistan will be met with swift justice. There will be no safe havens for terror, whether within or across the border,” a senior security official added.
