Claims circulated by elements associated with Fitna al-Hindustan regarding alleged road blockades and control of highways in Chaghi have been rejected as completely false, fabricated, and part of a deliberate misinformation campaign.
According to security sources, the propaganda being spread through social media platforms is aimed at creating a misleading impression of influence and operational capability. Officials stated that such claims have no connection with the actual security situation on the ground.
Security sources stated that hostile elements frequently attempt to project a false image of their presence by briefly appearing on roads, capturing photographs or videos, and later circulating old or misleading visuals on social media platforms as “new developments.”
Officials described this tactic as a propaganda strategy designed to create confusion among the public and portray a false narrative of control and strength. According to sources, these groups lack the ability to sustain any presence or disrupt normal life, and their online claims are intended primarily to attract attention rather than reflect the ground reality.
Security officials stated that such fabricated claims are aimed at misleading the public and creating a false perception among external audiences and supporters. Sources said that hostile elements use exaggerated narratives and unverified content to portray imaginary successes, while their actual operational capabilities remain limited.
Officials further stated that spreading misinformation through social media has become a routine tactic of such groups, which attempt to compensate for their failures on the ground by launching propaganda campaigns online.
Security institutions remain fully alert and continue monitoring developments in Chaghi and surrounding areas to ensure the protection of citizens and the uninterrupted movement of people and goods. Officials reiterated that attempts to spread fear, disrupt peace, or mislead the public through fake information will not succeed. The security forces remain committed to countering both physical threats and information warfare tactics being used by hostile elements against Pakistan’s stability and security.
The alleged road blockade claims in Chaghi are being described by security sources as another example of a misinformation campaign aimed at creating a false narrative. Authorities have emphasized that such propaganda efforts cannot change the ground realities and that security forces will continue taking all necessary measures to maintain peace, stability, and public safety.
