Security forces engaged in an exchange of fire with terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khwarij in the Dogar area of Kurram district, resulting in the elimination of a suicide bomber identified as Abdullah alias Ababeel, while six other terrorists were injured, according to security sources.
The clash erupted during an operation in the area, triggering a heavy exchange of fire between security forces and the terrorists.
Sources confirmed that Abdullah alias Ababeel, described as a suicide bomber affiliated with the group, was eliminated during the encounter. At least six additional terrorists sustained injuries in the fighting.
Following the exchange of fire, security forces cordoned off the area and initiated a search and clearance operation to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining threat elements.
Security officials said the situation is now under control, adding that the threat has been neutralized and clearance operations will continue until the area is fully secured.
