An Afghan national identified as Sifatullah Jamshed, deputy of slain Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander Shaheen, has been identified as the terrorist eliminated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kurram district.
Jamshed was a member of Shaheen’s group and reportedly hailed from Rabat village in Jani Khel, Afghanistan’s Paktia province.
His death was subsequently confirmed through Fateha posters and video footage circulated in Afghanistan and TTP-linked groups, providing further details about the identity and background of the eliminated terrorist.
Jamshed’s identification highlights the presence of Afghan nationals within TTP networks operating against Pakistan, as security forces continue counterterrorism operations in the border region.
