A security forces convoy came under a deadly attack by khawarij, as declared by the state, in the Darazinda region of Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in the martyrdom of one soldier and injuries to three others, official sources confirmed.
The ambush took place in the Sheikh Mela Jungle area, where unidentified attackers opened fire on the convoy. Following the assault, the perpetrators managed to flee the scene, evading immediate capture.
Security sources reported that Sepoy Qalb Abbas was martyred in the line of duty. The injured have been identified as Naik Khalid, Sepoy Inzamam, and driver Waqar. All three were swiftly evacuated and transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

In response, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a comprehensive search operation to track down the assailants.
