Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the wife of incarcerated Kashmiri resistance leader Yasin Malik, has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will continue his policy of aggression unless the longstanding Kashmir dispute is resolved.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Mushaal Mullick expressed deep concern over the Indian premier’s stance, calling it “disappointing and rooted in blame politics.” She accused India of deliberately targeting civilians in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting recent acts of cross-border hostility.
She emphasized that any future dialogue—whether in Geneva or elsewhere—must include a clear demand for the immediate release of Hurriyat leadership. “The inclusion of Kashmiri representatives in the peace process is not optional but essential,” she said, adding that all negotiations should be bound by a defined timeline to ensure tangible progress.
