As tensions between Pakistan and India continue to escalate, renowned American travel vlogger Drew Binsky has shared an eye-opening account of his unexpected stay in Pakistan—where, despite the looming threat of conflict, he says he feels “safe, welcomed, and inspired.”

In a video filmed near the Kashmir border in northern Pakistan, Binsky revealed he had initially planned to return to the U.S. from Islamabad. However, after India’s aggressive military posturing and Pakistan’s closure of its airspace, he found himself stranded—though far from distressed.

“I’m currently stuck in Pakistan because all airports are shut due to rising conflict with India,” said Binsky. “But I’m safe, grateful, and excited to explore more of this stunning region.”

The YouTuber, who has travelled to nearly every country in the world, expressed his surprise at the calmness of daily life in Pakistan despite the geopolitical strain. He documented peaceful protests against Indian missile strikes, showing locals opposing war with placards and unity—not panic.

“Shops are open, people are going about their lives—it feels like just another day,” he noted, contrasting it with India’s growing war rhetoric. His words indirectly challenge India’s Operation Sindoor, under which it reportedly launched 24 missiles at Pakistani and Azad Kashmir locations—prompting Pakistan’s swift and measured military response.

Binsky criticised the recklessness of war and emphasized that such aggression disrupts not only diplomatic ties but also the lives of ordinary people. “This is not a movie, this is real life. Make peace, not war,” he urged.

Now planning to exit via Kabul by land and catch a flight from there, Binsky’s message resonates globally: Pakistan, despite being under the threat of conflict, remains a place of hospitality, resilience, and peace-seeking citizens.

His firsthand experience serves as a powerful counter-narrative to India’s escalating war talk—showing the world that Pakistan may be prepared to defend itself, but it chooses peace over provocation.
