In a high-profile press conference flanked by senior officers of the Pakistan Air Force and Navy, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry declared that Pakistan has delivered a “resolute and proportionate” military response to recent Indian aggression, avenging the blood of innocent civilians and restoring deterrence in the region.
Calling the operation a fulfilment of the military’s solemn promise to the nation, Lt. Gen. Chaudhry announced the successful execution of Operation Bunyan al-Marsoos (The Iron Wall) launched in retaliation to India’s cross-border strikes and violations of Pakistani airspace.
“India shed the blood of innocent women and children in Azad Kashmir,” Chaudhry stated. “In response, Pakistan’s armed forces targeted 26 Indian military installations, including high-value sites such as Udhampur, Pathankot, Surathgarh, Sirsa, Adampur, and Awantipura — all of which were used to stage attacks on Pakistan.”
Among the most significant blows, the DG ISPR revealed that two Indian S-400 air defence batteries were destroyed with precision strikes, showcasing Pakistan’s advanced technological capabilities. He added that while Pakistan exercised “strategic restraint,” it retains a broad arsenal of high-end military tech that could be deployed if provoked again.
The military operation, conducted with what Chaudhry called “skill, discipline, and surgical precision,” marks a turning point in the region’s military dynamics. “We are grateful to Allah for granting us victory, and we salute the martyrs who gave their lives for the defence of the motherland,” he said.
Refuting India’s narrative, the DG ISPR also accused New Delhi of orchestrating terrorism inside Pakistan, warning that any further violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty would be met with an even more forceful response. “Let there be no doubt — if attacked, we will retaliate, and we will retaliate hard.”
The press conference concluded with an expression of gratitude toward the nation’s resilient public, the soldiers on the front-lines, and political leaders who stood united with the state. “This was not just a military response,” he noted, “it was the roar of a sovereign nation refusing to be subdued.”
Chaudhry also commended the Pakistani media for standing firm against Indian disinformation campaigns and ensuring the nation’s voice reached the global stage.
