ISPR: Indian Missiles Target Three Pakistani Air Bases; India Also Hits Its Own Territory—PAF Assets Safe

Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has confirmed that India has launched missile strikes targeting three air bases in Pakistan, Noor Khan, Murid, and Shorkot. He stated that all aircraft and strategic assets of the Pakistan Air Force are completely safe.

In an urgent press briefing held late at night, the DG ISPR disclosed that India fired six ballistic missiles from its Adampur base, of which one crashed within Adampur itself while the remaining five landed in Amritsar.

“India is targeting its own population with ballistic missiles,” said Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif. “These missiles have struck Sikh-populated areas of Indian Punjab. It is evident that India is deliberately targeting minorities. Our sympathies are with those suffering under India’s internal conspiracies.”

He further stated, “India, in a state of desperation, is attacking its own citizens. The intent is clear: to create chaos, provoke conflict, and mislead the global community. But we want to make it absolutely clear Pakistan is not a nation that will be intimidated by aggression or deception.”

He added, “India’s madness, deceit, and aggression are pushing this entire region toward a highly dangerous war.”

“We condemn all forms of terrorism,” said the DG ISPR, underscoring Pakistan’s principled stance.

According to senior security sources, India is conducting these strikes on its own soil to manufacture justification for broader aggression against Pakistan. “India seeks to deceive the world by creating a false narrative that Pakistan is launching missiles, when in reality it is India striking its own territory,” said one official.

The sources confirmed that Pakistan possesses electronic evidence to substantiate its claims, including data identifying the origin of the missile launches. “India is deliberately targeting Sikh areas to fuel hatred against Pakistan,” they noted. It was also revealed that on the night between May 7 and 8, India had already fired three missiles into Amritsar.

In a subsequent briefing held shortly after the initial one, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif revealed that India had escalated its attacks by launching air-to-surface missiles from its fighter aircraft, once again targeting Noor Khan Airbase, Murid Airbase, and Shorkot.

“As per the latest information, all PAF assets, including aircraft, remain unharmed,” he stated.

The DG ISPR went on to disclose that India has also launched missile and drone strikes into Afghanistan, further intensifying regional instability. “India is behaving with insanity and deceit. Through its reckless aggression, it is dragging the region toward catastrophe,” he said.

He warned, “We are not a nation that will be overwhelmed by your power or treachery. Now, just wait for our response.”

The military spokesperson also confirmed that Pakistan’s air defence system successfully intercepted and neutralized the missile threats. “Our air defence was fully operational and acted immediately. We have solid electronic evidence showing exactly where these missiles were fired from,” he emphasized.
