India Waves White Flag as Pakistan Offers Probe, Warns of Harsher Blow if Provoked Again

Pakistan, India, White Flag, Rana Sanaullah, Modi's War

In a dramatic twist following days of military tension, Pakistan’s top political aide Rana Sanaullah has declared that India’s aggression has been met with a decisive, punishing response — and that the raising of a white flag signals internal dissent within the Indian ranks over Modi’s war-driven policies.

“They were answered on their own soil, and they got the message,” said Sanaullah, emphasising that the Pakistan Air Force precisely targeted Indian military assets without endangering civilian lives — a move demonstrating strategic restraint and responsibility.

But in a surprising shift, Sanaullah also offered an olive branch, stating that Pakistan is ready for an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident — the event India blames as the trigger for its missile attacks. “We’ve said it before — we had nothing to do with it. We are even prepared to stand before any global forum for a probe,” he stressed.

Highlighting India’s symbolic white flag raised during the standoff, Rana Sanaullah claimed it reflected discontent within the Indian military, possibly a rejection of Modi’s “reckless war path.”

He warned that if India dares repeat such hostility, Pakistan’s military is capable of delivering an even harsher response. However, he clarified, “If India refrains, we too will act as a responsible state.”

Commercial airspace closures on Pakistan’s side were purely preventive, he added, noting that India’s targeting of the Neelum–Jhelum hydropower project was a clear breach of wartime norms. “We could have done the same — but we didn’t.”

Ending on a telling note, Rana said: “The tension was never ours. It was India’s. After last night’s answer, it’s time they find peace and calm down.”
