Afghan Cabinet Prioritizes Development, Coordination with Regional Partners

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan held its 20th Cabinet meeting under the leadership of Prime Minister Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, focusing on key national priorities including economic planning and urban development.

A major highlight was the formation of a delegation to plan the country’s national population census—an important step toward future planning and regional cooperation.

The Cabinet also directed the Ministry of Urban Development to accelerate construction projects nationwide. These initiatives present new opportunities for regional partners like Pakistan in trade, technical collaboration, and infrastructure development.
