In a serious escalation of tensions along the Line of Control (LoC), Indian forces violated the ceasefire agreement during the night between April 29 and 30, prompting a swift and forceful response from the Pakistan Army.
According to security sources, the unprovoked firing by Indian troops targeted the Kayani and Mandal sectors along the LoC using small arms. The aggression came in the wake of the Pahalgam false flag operation, which has been followed by a series of hostile moves from the Indian side.
Pakistan’s armed forces retaliated immediately and decisively, inflicting heavy damage on Indian positions. Security officials confirmed that several Indian military posts were destroyed, including the strategically located Chakpatra post on the Indian-occupied side of Kashmir.
Reports indicate that following the exchange, Indian authorities have begun evacuating border villages and have intensified crackdowns against Muslim populations in the disputed territory.
Sources say the recent actions reflect India’s growing war hysteria, while emphasising that the Pakistan Army remains fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and respond to any threats with full force.
