TTP Executes Local Man in Malakand After Court Ruling

Malakand, TTP, Court

The banned militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), referred to by the state as Fitnah Al-Khawarij, has reportedly executed a local man in the Malakand division following a verdict by one of its self-styled courts.

The individual, identified as Hamad, son of Amir Jan, had been in TTP custody for several days before the execution took place. Local sources confirmed that the militant group carried out the sentence after accusing him of spying.

Authorities in Malakand have yet to issue any official statement regarding the incident.

This act comes amid an intensification of militant activities in the region. Security forces, in turn, have escalated their operations, claiming to have neutralized several members of the group. Officials remain firm in their stance to continue pursuing militants until the threat is fully eliminated.
