In a joint security operation carried out early yesterday morning, Quds Commando forces, with the support of intelligence services, the Frontier Corps (FARAJA), local residents, and community elders, apprehended several insurgents in the Korein area of Zahedan city.
During the operation, the operational commander of the terrorist group Jaish al-Adl, Wali Mohammad Shah Bakhsh, who played a central role in last year’s terrorist activities, was killed.
Several weapons and a significant quantity of ammunition were also recovered during the operation.
Tragically, a Basij soldier, Eshaq Mokhtari, lost his life while participating in the Quds Commando security operation.
