The security forces successfully foiled the infiltration attempt and eliminated 12 terrorists, preventing them from crossing into Pakistani territory.

During the engagement, Naib Subedar Hidayat Aman fought bravely and embraced martyrdom while confronting the terrorists.

Pakistan Army Criticizes Taliban Regime Over Cross-Border Terrorism

In its statement, the ISPR criticized the Afghan Taliban regime for failing to fulfill its counterterrorism obligations and prevent terrorist organizations from using Afghan soil to launch attacks against Pakistan.

The statement reiterated concerns over the continued presence and activities of terrorist groups operating from Afghan territory, describing the failure to prevent such activity as a persistent security challenge for Pakistan.

The attempted infiltration and the reported firing from Taliban posts further underscore the security challenges facing Pakistani forces along the border, where personnel remain engaged in efforts to prevent cross-border movement by terrorist groups.

Pakistan has repeatedly called on the Afghan Taliban authorities to ensure that Afghan territory is not used for terrorist activities against Pakistan. Security forces remain committed to securing the border and thwarting attempts by terrorist networks to infiltrate the country.
