Security forces have neutralized 10 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) during an intelligence-based operation in the Rara Sham area of Barkhan district, Balochistan, security sources said.
The operation was launched following intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in the area. Security forces moved against the reported hideout and neutralized all 10 terrorists during the operation, according to the initial information.
A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the site. The recovered material could help investigators examine the group’s activities and potential links, although no further details about the weapons, the identities of those eliminated or the group’s operational plans were immediately available.
The operation represents another action by security forces against terrorist networks operating in Balochistan, where efforts continue to disrupt their presence and prevent attacks. The extent of the recovered arsenal and any evidence that may emerge from the site could provide further insight into the network’s activities.
Security sources reiterated that the resolve to eliminate terrorists, their sponsors and their facilitators in Balochistan remained firm.
Further details about the operation, including the identities of the terrorists and whether any follow-up action is planned, were not immediately available.
The operation comes amid a series of counterterrorism actions in Balochistan. Earlier this month, security forces reported eliminating terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan in Mashkhel and Kachhi district, with weapons and ammunition recovered in separate operations.
