A jirga of tribal elders and community representatives from Javdara, Torghar, Laghro Pakha and adjoining areas of Central Kurram has pledged full cooperation with security forces to maintain peace and deny terrorists any support or shelter.
The jirga was held under the leadership of the local wing commander, with detailed discussions focusing on the security situation, law and order, and recent security operations in the area.
During the meeting, the wing commander briefed participants on the prevailing security situation and recent operations, informing them that three terrorists had been eliminated.
The participants were categorically told that no shelter, protection or facilitation would be extended to terrorists. Residents were also urged to immediately inform security forces about any terrorist presence or suspicious movement in their areas.
Local elders reaffirmed their commitment to denying terrorists any form of assistance and assured the security forces of their full cooperation in maintaining peace and stability across Central Kurram.
