Security forces neutralized a highly wanted terrorist affiliated with the Gul Bahadur Group during an intelligence-based operation in Tirah’s Akkakhel Shadley area, security sources said.
The operation was conducted a day earlier, during which terrorist Bilal alias Lalwali was eliminated. He was associated with the Gul Bahadar Group, a faction involved in terrorist activities in the region.
Sources said the eliminated terrorist belonged to the Sipah tribe and was wanted by security authorities in connection with terrorist activities.
The operation forms part of ongoing intelligence-based efforts by security forces to dismantle terrorist networks operating in the Tirah Valley and adjoining areas. Security forces have intensified operations against terrorist groups using the remote terrain for concealment and movement.
Further details about Bilal’s role in terrorist activities and the operation were not immediately available.
