Security forces neutralized five terrorists in a precision strike targeting terrorist hideouts in the remote mountainous terrain of Bajaur, security sources said.
The operation targeted multiple concealed positions used by terrorists in the difficult-to-access mountainous area. The precision strike destroyed several hideouts, killing five terrorists, according to the sources.
The operation was carried out after security forces identified terrorist activity in the area, the sources said, adding that the destruction of the hideouts disrupted the terrorists’ ability to use the rugged terrain as a base for their activities.
Security forces continue intelligence-driven operations in Bajaur and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and prevent attacks.
