Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Dagari Cross area of Dasht, Balochistan, on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence and activities of Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists and their facilitators in the area.
During the operation, security forces effectively targeted the hideouts being used by the terrorists. As a result of the operation, four Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists were killed, while 17 facilitators were apprehended.
The operation was undertaken as part of the ongoing efforts by the security forces to disrupt terrorist networks, dismantle their support and facilitation infrastructure, and prevent them from carrying out violent activities in the region.
The security forces also targeted the hideouts, weapons and other resources associated with the terrorist network. The action resulted in significant disruption to the network’s operational capabilities and its ability to conduct terrorist activities in the area.
The apprehension of 17 facilitators will further assist authorities in uncovering the wider support network operating in and around Dasht. The individuals are being processed in accordance with the law, while investigations are underway to determine their roles, affiliations, and links with Fitna al-Hindustan.
The successful operation demonstrates the continued effectiveness of intelligence-led security operations aimed at identifying and dismantling terrorist networks and their facilitation mechanisms. Security forces remain vigilant and are maintaining close coordination with relevant intelligence and law-enforcement agencies to ensure that terrorist elements are denied the space and resources required to operate.
The security forces reaffirm their resolve to eliminate the threat posed by Fitna al-Hindustan and its associated support networks and to safeguard the lives and property of the people of Balochistan. Operations against terrorist elements, their facilitators, logistical networks, and hideouts will continue as part of the broader effort to maintain peace, security, and stability in the province.
