Security forces have eliminated Fatehullah alias Saifullah Fateh, described by security sources as a key militant commander associated with the banned organisation Jaish Tehreek-ul-Hind, during an intelligence-based operation in Bannu district.
According to security sources, Fatehullah was the military commander of the Waziristani Karwan faction of the banned organisation and served as its deputy military commander in Bannu. He was reportedly a resident of Khudri Mamandkhel in Bannu district.
The intelligence-based operation was conducted after security forces received information regarding the presence and movement of terrorist elements in the area. During the operation, security personnel effectively engaged the militants, resulting in the elimination of Fatehullah alias Saifullah Fateh along with two accomplices.
Security sources described Fatehullah as an important operational figure within the militant network and said he was directly involved in a number of terrorist activities in and around Bannu. According to the sources, Fatehullah was involved in the targeted killings of police personnel, the murder of civilians and other acts of terrorism. His elimination represents a significant development in ongoing efforts by security forces to disrupt terrorist networks operating in the region.
Security sources further alleged that Fatehullah was responsible for the incident in Karam Garhi, Bannu, two days prior to the operation, in which two personnel of the Federal Constabulary (FC) were abducted and subsequently martyred.
