Security forces eliminated seven terrorists during an operation in the Fateh Ali area of Gwargo in Kech, sources said.
According to the sources, security forces detected the presence of terrorists during a routine patrol in the area. The terrorists were traveling on motorcycles when security personnel directed them to stop.
Instead of complying, the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the security forces, prompting an effective response from the personnel.
Four terrorists were initially eliminated during the exchange of fire. Reinforcements were subsequently deployed to the area, following which security forces launched a search and clearance operation to locate any remaining terrorists.
The clearance operation led to the elimination of three more terrorists, taking the total number of terrorists eliminated in the operation to seven.
The search and clearance operation remains underway in the area as security forces continue efforts to locate any other terrorists who may be hiding nearby.
The operation is being carried out as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fitan 3, the ongoing security campaign against terrorist networks in Balochistan and other affected areas.
