Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan after receiving information that a group of TTP terrorists was travelling from Kulachi toward Maddi, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists and injuries to another.

According to security sources, personnel acted promptly on the intelligence and intercepted the terrorists while they were moving through the area. An exchange of fire followed, during which two terrorists were eliminated at the scene and three others were injured.

The injured terrorists were identified as Waheed Khan and Atifullah, among others. Both later succumbed to their injuries and were eliminated, taking the total number of terrorists eliminated in the operation to four.

One injured terrorist managed to flee the scene. Security forces launched a search operation to track down and apprehend the fleeing terrorist, while efforts were also underway to secure the area and prevent any further threat.

The operation underscores the continued intelligence-based efforts by security forces to intercept TTP terrorists before they can reach populated areas or carry out attacks in Dera Ismail Khan and adjoining districts.
