Khawarij carried out a quadcopter attack targeting the joint Musa Nikah Security Post of the police and security forces in Dazha Ghundai, Wana Tehsil, Lower South Waziristan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to initial information, the Khawarij employed a quadcopter to target the security installation in an attempt to inflict casualties and disrupt security arrangements in the area.
As a result of the attack, Police Constable Wazir Jan sustained minor injuries. He was provided immediate medical attention, and his condition is reported to be stable.
The use of a quadcopter by the Khawarij represents an evolving dimension of the security threat, as hostile elements continue to explore emerging technologies to target law-enforcement personnel and security installations.
