Security forces have eliminated five terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan during a successful intelligence-based operation in Washuk district of Balochistan as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, according to security sources.
The operation was launched on the basis of intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists linked with the Indian-sponsored terror network in the area. Acting on the intelligence, security forces moved against the identified terrorist presence and effectively engaged the group.
During the ensuing operation, five Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists were eliminated.
Security forces also recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from the terrorists during the operation, dealing a further blow to the network’s operational capabilities in the area.
The latest action is part of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, under which security forces and law enforcement agencies are conducting intelligence-based operations against foreign-sponsored and supported terrorist networks across Balochistan.
The campaign has focused on identifying terrorist concentrations, disrupting their operational infrastructure and preventing them from establishing or maintaining safe havens in strategically important areas of the province.
