Security Forces have continued to conduct effective Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Operation 11 Garaj over the past two months, significantly intensifying efforts against terrorist elements. According to security sources, the sustained operations have yielded substantial operational gains by targeting terrorist hideouts, neutralizing militants, apprehending facilitators, and recovering large quantities of arms and ammunition.
As part of the ongoing campaign, Security Forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation in the Shakro area of Bajaur District, where terrorist hideouts were effectively engaged and destroyed. Security sources indicate that the operation resulted in multiple terrorists being killed and several others injured, dealing another significant blow to terrorist networks operating in the region.
In addition to targeting terrorist infrastructure, Security Forces also arrested several facilitators who were allegedly providing logistical and operational support to terrorist elements. During the operations, a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and other war-like stores was recovered.
Security sources further stated that improvised explosive devices (IEDs) being used by terrorist elements were successfully located and destroyed during Operation 11 Garaj, preventing their potential use against Security Forces and innocent civilians.
The operations have been supported through coordinated ground actions and aerial surveillance, including the use of quadcopters, enabling Security Forces to maintain continuous pressure on terrorist elements and compel them to abandon populated areas and their hideouts.
Throughout the ongoing operations, Security Forces have maintained strict operational discipline to ensure the protection of civilian lives and property. Every effort is being made to safeguard the local population while conducting precise, intelligence-driven actions against terrorist targets.
