Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police continued its observance of Police Martyrs’ Week in Bannu by paying tribute to three real brothers who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty while serving the nation.
As part of the commemorative activities being held across the district, police officials visited the residences of Shaheed Sanaullah Khan, Shaheed Hazratullah Khan, and Shaheed Amjad Khan, three brothers who laid down their lives while performing their professional responsibilities in the fight against terrorism and crime.
During the visit, police officers met with the families of the martyrs, inquired about their well-being, and expressed profound respect for the courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment demonstrated by the three brothers in the service of the country.
The officials later visited the graves of the martyrs, laid floral wreaths, hoisted the national flag, and presented a formal police salute. Special prayers were offered for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for strength and patience for their bereaved families.
Police officials described the sacrifices of the three brothers as a timeless symbol of patriotism, loyalty, courage, and selfless devotion to duty. They noted that such sacrifices continue to inspire serving personnel and stand as a reminder of the heavy price paid by Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has remained on the frontlines of Pakistan’s counterterrorism campaign for nearly two decades, with hundreds of officers embracing martyrdom while confronting Fitna al-Khwarij and other terrorist groups. Districts such as Bannu have witnessed repeated terrorist attacks, making the role of police personnel particularly critical in maintaining law and order alongside security forces.
Officials reaffirmed that the sacrifices of police martyrs would never be forgotten and pledged continued support for their families. They emphasized that honoring the families of martyrs and preserving the legacy of those who laid down their lives for the country’s peace and security remains a foremost responsibility of the police force.
