Security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district, eliminating three terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan, while arresting two others during a raid on one of the group’s suspected hideouts.
According to preliminary reports, the operation was launched after security agencies received credible intelligence regarding the presence of armed terrorists linked to the Indian-backed terrorist network in the area. As the security forces cordoned off the hideout, the terrorists opened fire, triggering an intense exchange of gunfire.
During the operation, three terrorists were eliminated, while two suspects were apprehended alive. Security personnel also recovered a cache of arms, ammunition, communication equipment, and other material believed to have been used for planning and facilitating terrorist activities in different parts of Balochistan.
The arrested suspects are expected to be interrogated to uncover the network’s facilitators, financing channels, logistics, and possible links to recent terrorist attacks targeting civilians and security forces across the province.
The latest operation comes amid intensified counterterrorism efforts across Balochistan, where security forces have stepped up intelligence-based operations to dismantle the infrastructure of Fitna al-Hindustan and other terrorist outfits seeking to destabilize the province.
The development also follows the recent barbaric attack in Turbat, where six innocent laborers were brutally martyred after being abducted and targeted by terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan. The massacre drew widespread condemnation and was viewed as yet another attempt by the group to spread fear by targeting unarmed civilians and depriving local communities of their livelihoods.
Security analysts believe such attacks on laborers, workers, and development-related personnel reflect the terrorist network’s strategy of undermining economic activity and creating an atmosphere of insecurity in Balochistan. However, the continued success of intelligence-driven operations demonstrates the growing effectiveness of security forces in tracking and neutralizing terrorist cells before they can execute further attacks.
Security officials have reiterated that operations against Fitna al-Hindustan and other terrorist organizations will continue until their operational capabilities are dismantled and those involved in attacks against innocent civilians and the state’s security institutions are brought to justice.
