Security forces have intensified intelligence-based operations in Balochistan, tightening the noose around terrorist networks as part of the ongoing campaign to restore lasting peace and stability in the province.
According to security sources, a timely intelligence-based operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung resulted in the elimination of six terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan. The operation was launched after credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area.
Security sources said multiple other suspects were also apprehended during the operation. Those arrested include a facilitator as well as male and female suicide bombers allegedly linked to the terrorist network.
During the operation, security forces destroyed several terrorist hideouts that were being used as operational bases and safe havens. A large cache of weapons, ammunition and other war-like stores was also recovered from the terrorists’ compounds.
Search and clearance operations are continuing across the area to locate any remaining terrorist elements, while security forces have maintained a comprehensive security cordon to prevent the escape of suspects and ensure the complete sanitization of the locality.
Sources said intelligence-based operations in the Khad Kocha area have been intensified following recent terrorist activities in Mastung. The latest action is part of a broader effort to dismantle terrorist infrastructure, neutralize operational networks and prevent future attacks against civilians and security personnel.
Security sources reiterated that operations against terrorist organizations and their facilitators will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism and the restoration of durable peace across Balochistan.
