Security forces has neutralized a terrorist affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan during a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Khuda Abadan area of Panjgur District, continuing security efforts to dismantle terrorist networks operating in the province.
According to security officials, the operation resulted in the elimination of one terrorist, while a cache of weapons, ammunition, and other war-like stores was recovered from the site.
Officials said the operation forms part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts aimed at denying terrorist organizations operational space and strengthening peace and stability across Balochistan.
The latest operation comes only hours after another significant setback for Fitna al-Hindustan in Panjgur. Earlier on Thursday, two operatives of the group were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) they were allegedly planting detonated prematurely in the Mortan area of Gwarago.
According to available information, the terrorists were attempting to emplace the explosive device to target local Baloch civilians when it exploded before they could complete the operation, killing both on the spot. The incident highlighted the continued use of indiscriminate explosive devices by terrorist groups and the threat they pose to innocent civilians.
Security analysts say the back-to-back incidents reflect sustained pressure on Fitna al-Hindustan’s operational network in Panjgur, where security forces have intensified intelligence-led operations to prevent terrorist attacks, dismantle infrastructure, and safeguard local communities.
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to continuing intelligence-driven operations against terrorist elements until peace and stability are fully restored across the region.
