Security forces successfully foiled a major terrorist assault on Naal city in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district, neutralizing 12 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan during an intense exchange of fire, according to security sources.
Sources said a large group of heavily armed terrorists launched an attack on Naal in an apparent attempt to target the area and create instability. Security forces responded swiftly and with full force, engaging the attackers in a fierce firefight.
During the operation, 12 terrorists were neutralized while one security forces soldier embraced martyrdom in the line of duty after fighting bravely against the attackers.
Officials said the determined response by security personnel inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists and shattered their plans. Facing strong resistance, the surviving terrorists were forced to abandon their assault and flee the area.
Security sources described the operation as a significant setback for the terrorist network, noting that the attackers failed to achieve any of their objectives due to the rapid and effective response of the forces.
The area has since been secured, while a large-scale clearance and pursuit operation is underway to track down any fleeing terrorists. Ground troops, supported by aerial surveillance and operations, are continuing efforts to ensure that no terrorist elements remain in the vicinity.
Security officials reiterated their resolve to eliminate terrorist threats and maintain peace in Balochistan, emphasizing that operations against Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists will continue until the area is completely cleared of hostile elements.
