Security forces conducted a successful operation in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, neutralizing two terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan in the Saragaz area after they attempted to establish an illegal roadblock.
According to details, the terrorists had positioned themselves to set up a checkpoint-like obstruction in the area, likely aimed at disrupting movement and asserting temporary control over a local route. However, security forces responded swiftly to intelligence inputs and engaged the terrorists before they could consolidate their position.
During the exchange, both terrorists were neutralized on the spot, preventing any potential escalation or harm to civilians and securing the area without allowing the attempted blockade to materialize.
Security officials noted that such attempts are part of a broader pattern in which terrorist groups try to create temporary disruptions in remote regions to project influence and intimidate local populations, particularly in sensitive zones of Balochistan where development activity is ongoing.
The timely response by security forces ensured that the situation was brought under control and normal movement was restored in the area.
This operation follows a series of recent counterterrorism actions in the region, including the Qalat incident where security forces neutralized terrorists after an attack on LPG tanker vehicles, further reflecting sustained pressure on terrorist networks attempting to target infrastructure and civilian mobility in Balochistan.
