At least four terrorists were neutralized during an intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in the Wanda Zalo area of Tank district, according to local sources.
The operation was carried out in the village of Mullagan by Al-Baraq Division forces after receiving reports regarding the presence of terrorists in the area.
Sources said the eliminated terrorists were allegedly involved in the recent killing of a security official who had returned to his hometown in the Kuka Khel area on leave last week.
Security forces launched the operation following intelligence inputs and engaged the terrorists in an exchange of fire, resulting in the elimination of all four suspects.
A clearance operation remained underway in the surrounding area to trace any additional terrorist presence, while security personnel cordoned off the locality as part of ongoing search efforts.
