Firefight in Dhadar: 4–5 Terrorists Neutralized as Police Station Attack Foiled

Dhadar, Terrorist Attack Dhadar Police Station, Balochistan

Security forces in Balochistan’s Kachhi district foiled a terrorist attack on the Dhadar Police Station after armed terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan launched an assault on the installation, according to security sources.

Officials said the attackers attempted to breach the police station with heavy weapons but were met with an immediate and coordinated response from on-duty police personnel, who engaged them in intense firing.

Security reinforcements were quickly dispatched to the site, turning the engagement into a sustained firefight that prevented the attackers from gaining any ground or entering the facility.

During the exchange of fire, 4 to 5 terrorists were killed on the spot, while several others were injured. The surviving attackers reportedly retreated and fled the area amid the strong defensive response.

Following the incident, security forces launched a large-scale search and clearance operation in the surrounding terrain to track down the escaping terrorists and eliminate any remaining terrorists operating in the area.

Officials noted that Dhadar and adjoining regions in Kachhi have previously witnessed similar attempted attacks, reflecting a continued pattern of militant activity aimed at targeting police infrastructure and testing security readiness. However, consistent counterterror responses have repeatedly disrupted such attempts, prevented escalation and secured key installations.

The area remains under tight surveillance as operations continue.
