The Taliban’s acting Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, held a virtual meeting with Taliban diplomats stationed in various countries to discuss the ongoing conflict with Pakistan.
According to the Taliban Foreign Ministry, Muttaqi instructed representatives abroad to convey the group’s stance on the conflict to the international community.
Participants in the meeting condemned Pakistan’s recent airstrike near a drug rehabilitation center, describing it as “brutal” and a violation of humanitarian principles.
The ministry statement added that Muttaqi provided guidance on the Taliban’s position, policies, and potential future responses to Pakistan’s military actions.
The meeting underscores the Taliban’s efforts to mobilize diplomatic channels and frame the narrative of the conflict internationally, while signaling possible policy and strategic responses in the coming days.
